Below are some recent designs from one of my Photoshop class projects. I had to do an album and book cover, and I wanted to make sure they were eye-catching and unique, while being inspired by some of my hobbies, passions, and interests.
Book and Album Cover Project Mockups

This album cover was created in Adobe Photoshop for a project inspired by electro-pop bands like MGMT and Tame Impala. I used a tan pastel background with an orange sun, a white perspective grid, and custom mountain shapes to reflect a retro-futuristic, vaporwave aesthetic. The Japanese text and sunrise theme added a symbolic, international flair. I chose Cooper Black and Bebas Neue for contrast in typography and added small details like a mock record label and mockups to give it a realistic touch. This project helped me explore design applicable to the real world and grow my skills in layout, color, and Photoshop tools.

This book cover was designed in Adobe Photoshop, inspired by real theological books from my personal library. I used a grungy black texture and layered manuscript fragments to give the design a historical, worn feel. A geometric church silhouette, symbolic floral element, and candle-like windows represent purity, the Trinity, and biblical light imagery. Typography was guided by scholarly designs, using clean serif and sans-serif fonts to balance readability with an academic tone. Subtle grid lines and blended textures reinforce the theological and analytical themes. This project deepened my understanding of visual symbolism and alignment in cover design.
